About
The Foundation was established with the aim of
Providing all types and forms of charitable assistance to individuals and legal entities affected by the war of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, internally displaced persons, women and children;
To provide all types and forms of charitable assistance to social sector entities (including educational and healthcare institutions, temporary accommodation centers for internally displaced persons, orphanages (including family-type).
Objectives
of the Fund
Providing assistance to promote the legitimate interests of the beneficiaries in the areas of charitable activities defined by the Law of Ukraine, as well as developing and supporting these areas in the public interest
The GIRLS CF carries out charitable activities in the following areas:
- Protection of the rights of women and children;
- Protection of the rights of internally displaced persons;
- Education;
- Health care;
- Ecology, environmental protection and animal welfare;
- Prevention of natural and man-made disasters and elimination of their consequences, assistance to victims of disasters, armed conflicts and accidents, as well as to refugees and persons in difficult life circumstances;
- Guardianship and trusteeship, legal representation and legal aid;
- Social protection, social security, social services and poverty alleviation;
- Culture and art, protection of cultural heritage;
- Science and scientific research;
- Sports and physical culture;
- Human and civil rights and fundamental freedoms;
- Development of territorial communities;
- Development of international cooperation of Ukraine;
- Promoting the implementation of state, regional, local and international programs aimed at improving the socio-economic situation in Ukraine in the interests of society and/or protecting the legitimate interests of beneficiaries;
- Promoting the implementation of state, regional, local and international programs aimed at achieving gender equality in Ukraine;
- Promoting the defense capability and mobilization readiness of the country, protection of the population in emergency situations of peace and martial law.
